Applications
Description: D-Fibroheal Ag Meshed is a sterile silk and silver based surgical wound dressing used where wound infection and exudate management is particularly of concern. The dressing sheet is suitably meshed to facilitate easy drainage of fluids from the wound site and to maintain optimal moist environment at the wound site.
It can be applied directly at the wound site as a primary dressing to control infection, reduce wound bioburden levels, improve the efficiency of wound healing and facilitates faster wound closure.
The sustained release mechanism of silver ions from the bi-layered dressing sheet has broad spectrum anti-microbial activity which effectively controls infections at the wound site by restraining the growing bacteria and provides a wound environment most conducive to healing. Additionally, the silk protein and asiaticoside complex promotes high cell attachment, cell migration and tissue regeneration properties which facilitates faster wound closure.

Intended Use: D-Fibroheal Ag Meshed is intended for the management of low to moderately exudating, partial and full thickness, infected wounds including 1st and 2nd degree burns, donor and recipient sites, surgical sites, venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers and skin abrasions etc.
