Applications
· Twisted multifilament absorbable natural surgical sutures.
· Modern and advanced technology of twisting and polishing gives AQGUT a monofilament finish, minimizes the possibility of fraying and maximizes the potential and integrity of its Chromic AQGUT.
· AQgut is available in Plain Catgut (Yellow) and Chromic Catgut (Brown). Wound support for plain AQGUT is 10 day and for Chromic AQGUT is 28 days
· AQGUT is derived from highly purified collagen from intestinal submucosa of sheep and goat.
· Higher content of purified collagen allow for: superior tensile strength and lower reactions in vivo.
· Aqgut (Plain and Chromic) is indicated for use in general, soft tissue approximation and / or ligation.
· Sterility Indicator on each foil: - one more step to guarantee sterility and distinction between processed and unprocessed product.
